The USU's vitality is founded upon the involvement of students as leaders within its community. These positions range from a student Board of Directors, Club and Society Executives, Festival Directors, Debates Directors and Community Portfolio Convenors.
The USU’s Student Leadership Program:
- develops and fosters the leadership skills of those in leadership positions within USU’s community;
- provides participants with personalised development programs and opportunities through which they gain a supplementary dimension to their tertiary education;
- creates a community within which participants can socialise and network.
- offers flexible working hours, tailored to the academic timetable.
