Kick Start is the seed from which bigger things grow

Got a cool project, a great idea or a fantastic opportunity but lack the cash to make it happen? Then let USU help you.

Kick Start offers exceptional students the financial support to further develop their skills, networks and opportunities.

How does it work?

Approved individuals or groups, will receive funding for a wide range of endeavours including, but not limited to, academic, art, community, cultural, environmental and leadership.

There are three types of grants

1. General Projects – grants available now

2. Humanitarian Projects – grants available in semester 2

3. Indigenous Projects  - grants available in semester 2

 

 

Students have achieved some amazing things through this program. Past projects have included an installation in the Graffiti Tunnel put together by architecture students , a showcase at the Sydney Fringe Festival, a film pilot project, a light installation at Vivid Festival, publications by the Arts Students Society and Writers Society, an intervarsity circus cabaret and a Concert for Kids by the Wind Orchestra.

2013 applications will be reviewed bi-monthly and may be submitted at any time during the year. There are a limited number of grants available.
