Women’s Program
Women make up over 50% of the student population. It is only relatively recently (1972) that the Men’s Union and the Women’s Union amalgamated.
The Women’s Student Program Coordinators position evolved from previous women’s programs at the Union and aims to promote the rights of women, women’s safety, the abolition of harassment and ensuring that this university continues as a safe place for women.
