Student Leadership Program

The USU's vitality is founded upon the involvement of students as leaders within its community.  These positions range from a student Board of Directors, Club and Society Executives, Festival Directors, Debates Directors and Community Portfolio Convenors. The USU’s Student Leadership Program:

 - develops and fosters the leadership skills of those in leadership positions within USU’s community;

 - provides participants with personalised development programs and opportunities through which they gain a supplementary dimension to their tertiary education;

 - creates a community within which participants can socialise and network. 

 - offers flexible working hours, tailored to the academic timetable.

Student Portfolios

USU's Student Portfolios form part of our Student Leadership Program. The University of Sydney prides itself on the vibrancy of its world class student experience. The USU's Student Leadership Program creates opportunities for exceptional student leaders to develop skills and be involved int he development of the campus culture and annual calendar of events.

Student portfolios includes the prestigious student convenors roles, which are the Art and Memorabilia Collection Interns, Debates DirectorCampus Culture DirectorHumanitarian Week Director, International Internship, Postgraduate Internship, Tuesday Talks, Queer Program and the Women's Program.
