From 10-12 December, the University of Sydney Union will host the Australian British Parliamentary Debating Championships.

Teams from all over Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Japan will be attending this tournament to prepare for the Worlds Debating Championships in Botswana in late December.

In 2009, the Australian British Parliamentary Debating Championships featured 18 of the 20 best ranking Australian debaters at the Worlds Debating Championships.

If you would like to watch some of the most competitive international debaters in the Australasian region, the Grand Final of the tournament will be held on Sunday, 12 December from 4pm in the Eastern Avenue Auditorium at the University of Sydney.
