FredSoc would like to invite you to FredSoc Friday Volunteering.

Volunteering is at the Fred Hollows Foundation in Rosebery and we're there from 11am to 4pm. Everyone’s welcome, and you can come for the whole time, or just pop in for a couple of hours if that's all you can spare - it's very flexible. It is a great opportunity to do something great for the charity and also get to learn more about what the foundation is all about.

The tasks we help out with are many and varied: from mail opening and sending to putting together donor kits to from storeroom organisation to data entry.

For all the new people (and old), we have a group of people meeting prior to the event at 10:30am at the bus stop at Central station. On Elizabeth street, close to the Commonwealth Bank and opposite Central Station. If you don't want to travel alone or unsure of how to get there, please join us! Please let us know if you are though, so we will know to look out for you at the bus stop.
However, if you want to make your own way, it’s not too difficult, and there are lots of options:
By bus: catch the 310, 309or m20 from Central, the 348 from Bondi or the 370 from Uni/Coogee
By train: take the train to Green Square and walk to the Fred Hollows Head Office
Or if you are super keen you can walk there!
