FredSoc Friday Volunteering

FredSoc Volunteering is at the Fred Hollows Foundation in Rosebery and we volunteer there at 11am to 4pm. It is very flexible so you are welcome to come in at anytime and join us. It is a great opportunity to do something great for the charity and also get to learn more about what Fred Hollows and his foundation is all about.

We help out by doing a myriad of different tasks: preparing welcome packs, make IOL(intraocular lens) packs, sending out the mail and opening mail, organizing the storeroom, data entry and setting up functions for the foundation - whatever the foundation needs on the day

It is a sociable and fun way to spend your extra time on a Friday. There will be lots of people to talk to and fun to be had. There is also free lunch provided for us by the foundation. We have a choice of Adamo's famous pasta or Cafe 506's delicious variety of food.
