From Wikileaks to the Arab Spring & Occupy

Masses of people exploded into action in 2011, with young people leading the Arab Spring revolutons which overthrew dictators in the Middle East, fightbacks against vicious neoliberal austerity packages throughout Europe, and the #Occupy movement highlighting corporate greed and the lack of real democracy across the world.

What caused these struggles to emerge in 2011? How has it been possible for them to change our society? And how can we make 2012 an even bigger year in the fight for the global 99%?
