Finish your O-Week with The Band Finale, where you’ll be seeing some of Australia’s most talented performers take the stage at Manning Bar! For Friday of mayhem and melody, hear The Grates take the stage at Manning, supported by local talents New Navy and Cameras!

The Grates
Having gained critical acclaim with their first two albums “Gravity Won’t Get You High” and “Teeth Lost, Hearts Won”, The Grates chased inspiration around the globe, finding themselves in New York. Their latest album, “Secret Rituals” brings with it a new and original sound – a little lighter on the drums, a little heavier on the bass – yet the band’s quirky rhythms, mesmeric lyrics and charismatic performances have drawn waves of new crowds. Whether you’ve rocked out to their music at Splendour in the Grass, hit up a sideshow, or heard them on the radio, get ready for The Grates to deliver an exhilarating performance at O-Week!

Gold Fields
Hailing from Ballarat, Gold Fields gained a solid fanbase as a Triple J Unearthed artist. Their track ‘Treehouse’ has sent waves through the Australian music scene, drawing attention to their self-titled E.P. This young band’s energetic choruses have sent crowds wild at Falls Festival and Field Day, and have scored rave reviews across Australia’s major music publications. With a reputation for phenomenal live gigs, Gold Fields will be sure to be a hit at The Band Finale!

Cameras
Having released their debut album ‘In Your Room’ in October 2011, Sydneysiders Cameras have been travelling the world to visit their fans in distant lands. Taking the stage at Changing Lanes, Big Day Out and Peats Ridge, these guys have found a captivating sound that mixes indie vocals with alt-rock accompaniment. After only one studio album, the band’s success has been overwhelming – don’t miss the chance to see their captivating live performance at the Band Finale!

Swimwear
Tom Derricourt of Dappled Cities has unleashed a fresh new sound with Swimwear’s E.P., ‘The Kissing Machine’. Swimwear’s eclectic layers of electronic beats, funky rhythms and live instruments create a fresh, feel-good sound. Derricourt’s impressive vocals take Swimwear to a new level, adding new dynamics to some of the more upbeat dance tracks. Swimwear’s brand new release is sure to get inside your head, so make sure you’re at The Band Finale to hear some wild new sounds from Swimwear’s exciting new E.P.!
