It’s events like this that are the icing on the Government and IR cake. Or perhaps the creamed cheese on the Government canapé (we think catering is just going savory this time).
Nevertheless, Welcome Drinks are sure to sweeten up your degree with friendly faces (that’s us), famous faces (us – just you wait), and faces with the scars of legit teaching and learning experience. For those about to commence their studies in Government and International Relations you don’t want to miss this opportunity to rub shoulders with the Chair of Department, Allan McConnell, who has graciously agreed drop in for the hour and present his official welcome to the Department of Government and International Relations. It will be a great chance to meet your new colleagues or to catch up with old friends. You will have the opportunity to meet and talk to older students who are currently majoring or doing honours in Government and IR.
Whether you’re a first-year, or just a new PolSoc member, come and find out about our upcoming events and exciting opportunities to be a part of one of the most dynamic and exciting societies on campus. We look forward to seeing all members, new and old at this informal evening on campus.
